CoverRoute is designed around data minimization. Starting a quote does not require an SSN. Policy PDFs selected in the local scanner are processed in the browser; the raw PDF is not uploaded by the current site. If you choose to save a summary, only the extracted fields you approve are stored with your authenticated account.

Contact preferences default to off and can be changed by channel. Licensed checkout may collect the name, email, phone number, requested effective date, ZIP code, state, and selected insurance lane needed to continue with an authorized insurance provider. Signed-in users may have the checkout-session record stored under their account; access is restricted to that user. Provider handoff consent is explicit and separate from CoverRoute marketing preferences.

When you continue to a licensed provider, that provider's privacy notice and consent requirements apply to the quote, underwriting, payment, binding, and service flow.
